Mondays are generally my most challenging day of the week. It is my chosen day for the peg-interferon injection. I prepare in advance by making sure I have cleared my day of any outside appointments; I make sure I have enough food and amenities in the house; and I don't answer calls unless it is absolutely necessary. This day is freed up so I can rest and tend to my physical, mental and emotional needs.
I will nap as often as my body requires and I keep on top of re-hydrating with clean filtered water.
This is the perfect day for hot blended soups or clear broths.
If a friend or neighbor offers to do something for me that will make my day a little less stressful, I am learning to accept these generous offers. People want to help. I am learning it is okay to say 'yes'.
Today I am grateful for all the caring individuals in my life who create a soft place for me to rest.
Deborah
